2 HOUR INTENSIVE 11:30 am - 1:30 pm THE CAUSES AND CURE OF CANCER - Charlotte Gerson (San Diego, California) |
Background on Keynote Speaker Charlotte Gerson founded the Gerson Institute in 1976. Her goal was to
preserve and further her father's work (Max Gerson) by making the Gerson
Therapy available to people throughout the world, particularly those
suffering from cancer and other degenerative disease. More than twenty years
later Charlotte Gerson remains centrally involved in the work of the Gerson
Institute. Not only does Ms. Gerson continue to conduct numerous seminars
about healing disease through nutrition, but she works closely with those
clinics licensed by the Gerson Institute. Today the Gerson Institute is a
leader in the advocacy of alternative medicine and remains the only
organization to provide information about the Gerson Therapy in association
with Charlotte Gerson.Being diagnosed with a terminal or degenerative disease is always a scary experience. Whether you or a loved one are suffering from cancer, arthritis, chronic fatigue, diabetes, heart disease or any other of a wide variety of degenerative diseases, the Gerson Institute is here to give you hope. There are many stories of recovery available. Some patients have sought treatment at a Gerson Certified Clinic, while others have followed the Therapy at home. What each of these people share in common is that they have broken free of their disease and discovered a better way to live. Read many of these case histories at: Gerson.org histories Through his work with tuberculosis in the 1920s, eminent scientist and clinical researcher Dr. Max Gerson attracted the friendship of Nobel Peace Prize recipient Albert Schweitzer, MD. At the time, Schweiter's interest in Gerson was prompted by the failure of conventional treatments to cure his wife Helene of lung tuberculosis. In 1930, after suffering her tuberculosis for seven years, Helene was admitted to Dr. Gerson's clinic and cured after 9 months. Later, it came to pass that even Schweitzer's own advanced (Type II) diabetes was cured by Gerson's nutritional therapy. Schweitzer followed Gerson's progress over many years, seeing the dietary therapy successfully applied further to heart disease, kidney failure, and then finally cancer. |
